Allowing all that we hold to heal requires patience and courage.
To encourage the future to be better than the past, allow it to open with words.
Words have a healing power that no one can deny - they generate the energy and productivity needed to maneuver life with grace.
They need to be the right words, however: NOT "I must...", "Why can't I... when everyone else does".
They need to be "I am...[free, happy, at peace]", "I can choose to do all I deserve to do in my lifetime, and I will".
These words generate power, they are not harsh but focused. They are not fearful but empowered. Therefore they open the way for all things we for in life, rather than pushing on the closed door and demanding it open.
Demands and Fear generate nothing more than demanding, fearful energy in our lives.
Yet in the presence of encouraging and empowering words we know only success... because we can see it.
Fear blinds. Love does not.
The words of grace we share through this Affirmation Ceremony and beyond will open the door to change because we will be able to see the change we want, access new energy and enlighten ourselves by taking new action in our lives. New action only comes to us when we can open our eyes to the potential of our lives, and this potential arrives when we focus on affirming new hope to the world.
