A lot of healing work comes down to facing that which we haven't faced before!! Facing our fears doesn't mean that we have to struggle through life bearing the weight of what we see, it often means that we get answers and are then able to let go.
Is there anything that you do all the time (going to work for example) that you just don't want to do? Do you know what it is that you hate most about this situation? Are you afraid of where you are going with it? Or perhaps you don't feel it's able to bring enough money, love or happiness to you?
Have you actually looked deep enough to see what has led you to this situation...
The things that we've hidden from ourselves are the most dangerous when it comes to being happier, creating freedom and getting back to our real purpose in life (whatever that might be!). Often we hide things because we don't believe that there is a good, valid reason behind each thing that we hate, so we just don't look.
But here is another question that I have faced recently - Why do we push through those things that we hate doing?
I see so many people doing jobs that they don't want to do, staying in relationships that aren't good enough for them. They feel down trodden and hopeless much of the time. Yet it seems to me, from all my healing work, that we are always on the right path for our Soul Journey - no matter what! This sounds at odds with past teachings about how we can get off track, we can do things that run against the grain of who we are, etc. I don't believe this. I believe that if you are doing something in life that you are sick of, or that you just can't face anymore it's because you have to. On a deep soul level you are being pushed to stay with this thing until you have learned what you need to take from it...there are deeper reasons. These reasons are personal, private and may well be buried where you are not able to see it easily. But they are there. It's important to remember too that these are the things that we often judge people for - 'Why is she staying with him?', 'I don't know why she does that, she's just hopeless...' you get the point.
We have so many reasons for living the life that we are in, yet often don't see how intricately planned our lives are. We live in the mind rather than the deeply planned out Soul Journey. Of course we need to be human too, we can't live in Spirit all the time. But take a moment now to ask the Soul why the human self is doing what it's doing right now.
Take a deep breath, ask your body to let you know what it doesn't like about the situation that you are in. Say thank you, and let it go. Now ask what you need to learn from this situation.
Give yourself a moment to just feel, rather than mentally analyse, what's going on within you. You might be surprised to find hope and love and even peace deep within this message you receive.
The answers to these questions are insightful for you alone. Perhaps not one other person will understand them, but they will be right for you. So take the time to listen rather than fighting whatever you are doing right now.
Warm wishes
Monique.
